What stories emerge when we step into the light and allow ourselves to be seen?
Join Creative Ambassador Tricia Creason-Valencia and photographer Janet Appleton for an evening of conversation, creativity, and connection at PowerHouse San Jose. Tricia will will guide an intimate artist talk with Janet and together we will explore cyanotype printing and the power of photography to help us feel seen by ourselves and others.
We'll get hands-on by making miniature cyanotype prints inspired by our stories about about our relationship to our own bodies. The workshop will include guided conversation, creative writing and cyanotype printing to help participants see themselves with greater curiosity and compassion.
Whether you're an artist, a photographer, a person seeking community or simply looking for an evening of meaningful connection with like-minded folks, this Creative Ambassador workshop is for you!
This FREE workshop is part of Tricia Creason-Valencia's "I Am/We Are: Our Stories Connect Us" 2026 Creative Ambassador Project for the City of San José.
VISIBLE is a 3-part series facilitated by Tricia Creason-Valencia and Janet Appleton, including a half-day retreat for women+ ($100/per attendee) on July 11 at Uvas County Park.
