🎬 ABOUT THE SHOW
New York City, 1899. The streets are alive with the cries of the newsies: scrappy, street-smart kids hawking papers on every corner just to survive. Jack Kelly is a charismatic dreamer, leader of his band of brothers, with one eye always fixed on the horizon... and the wide open skies of Santa Fe. 🌅 Inspired by the true story of the 1899 Newsboys Strike, this is the electric tale of what happens when ordinary kids refuse to be ignored.

This is one of Broadway's most thrilling scores, a Tony Award winner for Best Original Score, with music by Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast) and lyrics by Jack Feldman.
