About the Event Speaker
Chrysalis is excited to welcome Alice Pauser as the speaker for this year's Shared Threads event. Alice has been a published humor writer, freelance journalist, and public speaker for over three decades. She authored her first book, NUNderwear, in 2022. Alice is a StorySLAM Champion for The Moth in Madison and Milwaukee and performs storytelling at venues throughout Wisconsin. Additionally, she does stand-up comedy in Madison and Milwaukee and has appeared on stage at the iO Improv Theater in Chicago. Her professional background includes extensive work in mental health and wellness. Alice believes humor is essential to maintaining balance in our lives. To promote this idea, she facilitates "Life is Better When You Laugh" workshops for community members and organizations across the state.
While attendance is free for the public, Chrysalis is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and relies on your support to continue our important work.
