I would love to help you reframe this month by focusing on Hestia, a goddess of hearth (which is Latin for focus) and home, who cultivates wisdom and periods of connection with others on a similar path.
Hestia and Vesta, her Roman counterpart, are symbolized in the flame, dancing in the center of the home or other spiritual place. Learning about her and her archetype can provide you with the tools to make February be a month where you focus on what you need around you to feel as secure and safe as possible. We will focus on what is integral in your mind and body, what resonates as most meaningful, and use these touchstones as a guide to curate your own personal safe space, which protects you and makes you feel whole. Hestia can teach us how to slow down, to mindfully and meditatively complete our tasks. Furthermore, a connection with her archetype can make us aware of those in the collective who are like-minded, and help us practice discernment in choosing those we form a deep connection with, in person or over the
miles.
Class will be taught from a trauma-informed perspective and offer breathwork and visualization exercises, ritual suggestions, and meditative practices.
Two sliding scale options for tickets.
