ABOUT THE PRESENTER:

Jo-Ann Canning has been a Master Gardener for 28 years, teaching and consulting with home gardeners and community groups on small scale gardening and edible landscapes in the urban environment. She is long-time advocate for keeping both landscapes and wildlife viable and healthy in our changing climate. Her articles and photographs have been published in local and international magazines and newsletters.

ABOUT VIMGA:

The Vancouver Island Master Gardeners Association (VIMGA) is a chapter of the Master Gardeners Association, an international service society of specially trained volunteers who teach science-based sustainable gardening practices to home gardeners. VIMGA is one of the 5 chapters in the British Columbia Association and partnering with the Victoria chapter, specializes in the stewardship of Vancouver Island’s unique environment.
