Supplies needed:

1. I used a 9x12 piece of watercolor paper - any acrylic or watercolor paper would be good. OR if you want to use a canvas please do!!
2. Painters tape so you can tape the edges to an artboard, piece of cardboard, or cookie sheet (whatever large surface works)
3. Acrylic colors: blue, yellow, black, yellow, green, white and black. I used the most affordable paint brand for this painting "Basics" from Michaels - but any acrylic brand will work
4. I like having paper towels near me
5. Jar of water
6. A wide (1/2 inch) brush, a medium brush, and a small detail brush
7. A plate or whatever you like to put your paint on
