I believe in sustainable and intentional wriitng which is why our five sessions will all be building towards finishing a standalone excerpt of your memoir and not an entire draft.

This course, taught by me, Hannah Eko, a seasoned author (Honey Is the Knife) and personal writer, will guide you and 18 other writers through the five essential phases of the memoir writing process:

• Inspiration: Discover and refine your story and why.

• Organization: Shape your narrative framework and plan your writing days.

• Creation: Start writing with confidence and prepare for triggers.

• Revision: Strengthen and elevate your work and learn your editing style.

• Publication: Learn practical tips for getting your story into the world via publishing in journals, magazines, Substack, or contests.

Together, we’ll turn your idea into a living, breathing thing that doesn't just live in your head.

The Details

• Schedule: Thursdays, 5-7:30 PM (every other month) starting in February. We'll meet February, April, June, August, and October for a total of five phases for a total of 20 sessions.

• Cost: $1,111 total (think of it an investment in your future Pulitzer)

• Format: Seminar-style with a max of 19 students.

• Location: Online, live instruction.
