As part of our 'Do It Yourself' season in the Food & Drink Studio, we’re thrilled to welcome photographer, cook and acclaimed Vietnamese author Uyen Luu for a special communal supper club.
Uyen grew up in Vietnam before moving to London as a child. She launched her renowned East London supper club in 2009 and has since authored several celebrated cookbooks. Her work champions the flavours, balance and beauty of Vietnamese cuisine, drawing on family traditions, personal history and a deep connection to food culture.
This supper club will celebrate Vietnamese dishes designed to be built, wrapped, mixed or layered by hand — encouraging guests to tailor each bite to their own palate. Expect vibrant herbs, crisp vegetables, broths, pickles, noodles and irresistible sauces, all served family‑style for a relaxed, joyful and interactive meal. Uyen will introduce each dish and share stories from her culinary journey, while guests craft their own plates and enjoy the pleasure of eating together.
A bright, flavour‑packed evening celebrating Vietnamese home cooking, creativity at the table and the joy of sharing food communally.
