Victoria Fusion and Blues presents... Victoria summer blues thing 🎶 Saturday, June 27 and Sunday June 28We're bringing even more blues dance to Victoria with the fabulous Sara Hughes and Candra Marr — the duo behind some blues thing in Vancouver — for a full afternoon workshop and evening social, followed by a morning practica and private party.
The workshop will cover both jookin' and ballroomin' blues. The ballroomin' section will include work with close embrace (torso-to-torso connection). Stay tuned for class descriptions!
The workshop is designed for all levels, though you'll get more out of it with some previous blues and/or partner dance experience (blues, fusion, or otherwise). Not there yet? Come check out our monthly Victoria Fusion and Blues drop-in lessons!
Schedule:
Saturday June 27🕧 Workshop — 12:30–5:30 pm 🕗 Social Dance — 8:00–11:00 pm
Sunday June 28🕧 Practica — 10:00am–12:00pm 🕗 Private Potluck and Party — 12:00 pm–3:00 pm
Location:
Saturday – Broad Street Studio — 1303 Broad Street, Victoria BC
Sunday – Private location in Gorge/Tillicum area
Tickets:
Early bird workshop and social (sliding scale): $50–$70+
Social only: $10–$20
