About this Event
This training is designed for a range of professionals who may encounter sexual violence in their work practice. The session focuses on building the knowledge & skill required to recognise & respond to disclosures of sexual violence from people aged 16 years & over with a regional lens. The training incorporates lived-experience voice, real-world examples, & best-practice guidance to ensure trauma-informed, survivor-centred responses that promote safety, choice, & empowerment. Each component of the session will build a picture into what is required when providing responses to disclosures of sexual violence.
