Vicente García is a Dominican musician singer and composer and winner of 4 Latin Grammys including 'Best Folk Album' for Camino al Sol in 2023. He incorporates traditional Dominican genres such as bachata and merengue with modern styles of reggae and funk.
In his music Caribbean rhythms coexist with avant-garde and alternative elements that allow him to inhabit a unique sound universe. Vicente García has four studio albums: “Melodrama” (2011) the multi-award winning “A La Mar” (2016) “Candela” (2019) and “Camino al Sol” (2022)
Vicente García has collaborated with renowned artists including Juan Luis Guerra Alejandro Sanz Cultura Profetica Juanes Ximena Sariñana and Maná among others.
He makes his debut show in Berlin at SO36 on June 30th.
