It all started in a swanky club in Minneapolis. In an era when the radio waves featured post grunge and boy bands, those hip to the vintage sound got dressed up to hear the swinging sounds of Vic Volare & the Volare Lounge Orchestra. The year was 1996, the first show was June 10th. Over the seasons, from the candlelit booths, we'd watch, mesmerized by Vic's disco ball jacket, listening to music in the style made popular by artist like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Vic Damone, Sammy Davis Jr., Mel Torme, Bobby Darin, Louis Prima, awaiting our next dance partner to take a spin on the dance floor. Vic & his band have been entertaining audiences ever since. Join us at the Eagles #34 as we celebrate Vic Volare's 30th anniversary with the Volare Quartet and special guests.
Get dressed up in your swankiest mid-century threads, or come as you are. All are welcome (under 21 with legal guardian) for a night of live music & dancing beginning with a complimentary dance lesson with our host, Miss Shannon.
7pm: Miss Shannon's dance lesson (included in the entry)
