Recognized as a Leading Acting School in N. America (the Workbook), VFS’s Acting program has created artists that have performed in Heated Rivalry, Jurassic World: Rebirth, Tron: Ares, Moana 2, Overcompensating, Barbie, The Last of Us, and more. Experience first-hand the variety of industry disciplines you’ll master at VFS: Feature Film, Sitcom Television, Voice Acting, and Motion Capture Acting.


Experience a Voice Acting Demo

Step behind the mic and discover how your voice can bring characters to life. In this live demo, you’ll explore the full expressive range of performance – from subtle emotional beats to bold, animated personalities – while learning how professional voice actors approach scripts for animation, video games, and beyond. Guided by industry-trained instructors, you’ll gain insight into vocal techniques, character development, and the recording process, leaving with a deeper understanding of how to harness your creativity and adapt your voice for a wide range of storytelling mediums.


Alumni Roundtable: Building Your Entertainment Career

Get an inside look at what it really takes to build a sustainable career in the entertainment industry. In this candid roundtable discussion, successful alumni (guests to be confirmed) share their personal journeys, from training to landing roles and navigating the realities of the industry. Hear firsthand insights on networking, auditions, representation, and staying creatively fulfilled while pursuing opportunities across film, television, voice acting, and emerging media. Q&A to follow.


Meet the Head of the Program

Meet Program Head Omari Newton (Netflix’s The Dragon Prince, Blue Mountain State, Far Cry 6), as he explains how VFS’s Acting for Film & Television program trains artists to bring characters to life, how you’ll experience acting for feature film, television, animation, & games at this event, acting career advice, and how VFS students are evolving this craft.
