About this Event
Storytelling is a powerful tool for healing, connection, and personal growth. The Veterans Talking to Veterans (VTTV) Story Quest Walk is a unique opportunity for veterans, their families, and supporters to come together in a supportive outdoor setting while learning about a program designed specifically to help veterans move forward in life.
Veterans Talking to Veterans is built on the understanding that those who have served often connect best with others who have walked a similar path. Through this program, trained VTTV Coaches—many of whom are veterans themselves—use specialized trauma-informed coaching techniques to help veterans process experiences, rediscover purpose, and set meaningful life goals.
At the heart of VTTV is storytelling. Sharing experiences and listening to the stories of others can be a natural and powerful response to trauma. By creating a safe space for those stories to be heard, VTTV Coaches help veterans tap into their own strength, resilience, and self-healing abilities.
The Story Quest Walk invites participants to experience this concept in action—walking together, reflecting together, and strengthening the bonds that make the veteran community so powerful. Whether you are a veteran seeking connection, a family member wanting to learn more, or a community member who supports those who served, this event offers a meaningful opportunity to engage, learn, and walk alongside those who understand the journey.
