About this Event
This unique community event brings together veterans, active-duty military personnel, Boy Scouts, families, and community leaders in an atmosphere of honor, leadership, service, and mutual respect. Inspired by the legacy of one of the youngest Eagle Scouts who also served as a veteran of World War II, the event creates a bridge between generations — connecting the wisdom and sacrifice of our veterans with the future leaders of tomorrow.
The day begins outdoors in the parking area, where attendees are welcomed by community vendorsand organizations offering positive information, resources, educational materials, and opportunities for involvement. This opening environment encourages networking, friendship, and meaningful conversations between military families, scouts, and supporters.
The official ceremony opens with the presentation of the flag and live drums, creating a powerful Circle of Respect that sets the tone for unity, gratitude, and honor. This ceremonial opening recognizes the values shared by veterans, active military members, and scouting traditions: courage, integrity, responsibility, and service to others.
Following the ceremony, guests will gather indoors for a special recognition program honoring hardworking leaders and individuals who have dedicated themselves to helping their communities, supporting veterans, mentoring youth, and preserving strong moral values.
A featured presentation by the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) will provide important educational information focused on protecting veterans, service members, and future generations from psychiatric abuse and harmful practices. The presentation aims to empower attendees with knowledge, awareness, and practical information to help safeguard personal rights, informed consent, and mental wellness.
Throughout the event, attendees will have opportunities to connect across generations, strengthen community bonds, and celebrate shared values of leadership, discipline, and service.
A meal will be served to all guests as part of the fellowship and community gathering.
