Vernissage og feiring!Vi inviterer til kunstutstillingen «Stemmer fra gata».
Utstillingen er laget i samarbeid med kunstner Anita Nilsen, som har deltatt på byvandringer med guidene våre i Oslo og Bergen. Underveis har hun fotografert motivene fra turene og senere tegnet over bildene. Resultatet er en serie personlige kunstverk inspirert av guidene sine historier.
Guidene har selv valgt titlene på kunstverkene.
Alle verkene vil være til salgs til inntekt for Gatestemmer, og utstillingen vil stå i en måned fra åpningen.
Vi markerer også to jubileer:
🎉 Gatestemmer fyller 2 år – 24. april
🎉 Foreningen for Human Ruspolitikk fyller 20 år – 28. april
Derfor feirer vi ekstra med et musikalsk åpningsinnslag fra våre husvenner.
Om Gatestemmer
Prosjektet er inspirert av det danske initiativet Gadens Stemmer, og drives av Foreningen for Human Ruspolitikk (FHR).
Gatestemmer er annerledes byvandringer ledet av mennesker med erfaring fra rus, psykisk uhelse, kriminalitet, sexarbeid og/eller bostedsløshet.
Guidene tar publikum med til steder som har hatt betydning i deres liv, og bruker egne erfaringer som en ressurs i formidlingen.
Hver vandring er ulik – akkurat som guidene.
Målet er å skape et tilrettelagt og meningsfylt arbeid for mennesker utenfor det ordinære arbeidslivet.
Vi tror at ekte møter mellom mennesker kan bidra til å redusere stigma og skape større forståelse.

Vernissage and celebration!
We invite you to the art exhibition “Stemmer fra gata” (Voices from the Street).
The exhibition is created in collaboration with artist Anita Nilsen, who has joined our guides on their walking tours in Oslo and Bergen. During the tours she photographed locations connected to the guides’ stories and later drew over the images. The result is a series of personal artworks inspired by the guides’ experiences.
The guides themselves have chosen the titles of the artworks.
All artworks will be for sale in support of Gatestemmer, and the exhibition will remain on display for one month after the opening.
We are also celebrating two anniversaries:
🎉 Gatestemmer turns 2 years – April 24
🎉 Foreningen for Human Ruspolitikk (The Norwegian Association for Humane Drug Policies) turns 20 years – April 28
To mark the occasion, there will be a musical opening performance from our house friends.
About Gatestemmer
Gatestemmer is inspired by the Danish initiative Gadens Stemmer and is run by Foreningen for Human Ruspolitikk (The Norwegian Association for Humane Drug Policies).
Gatestemmer offers alternative city walks led by people with lived experience of life on the margins, including addiction, mental health challenges, crime, sex work and/or homelessness.
The guides take the audience to places that have been important in their lives and share their personal stories along the way.
Each walk is different – just like the guides.
The project creates work opportunities for people outside the traditional labour market.
We believe that real encounters between people can help reduce stigma and create greater understanding.
