Composting has many benefits, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, reducing landfill waste, and returning nutrients to the soil while giving plants a huge nutritional boost. With the power of worms, you can easily compost at home without the need for a large outdoor pile!
This class will go over the basics of Vermicomposting, how to get started, benefits, making worm compost "tea," and tips and tricks to have a successful worm bin. Will also have a live worm bin to see what it looks like in use.
