About this Event

Join Saima Mir and Hetha Duffy, as part of The Book Corner's and The Grayston Unity's TOWN Festival.

Saima will be in conversation with Hetha Duffy, publisher at Hebden Bridge-based Bluemoose Books, about the sequel to her best-selling debut The Khan. There will be a discussion and reading, followed by audience Q&A and book signing.

About Vengeance:

Two years into taking over her family’s organized crime syndicate in the north of England, Jia Khan stumbles on a notebook her father – the previous Khan – kept on arrival from Pakistan in the 1970s. What she finds there sends her deep into the past. But once the sleeping dogs from those years are woken, they are set for attack.

Worst of all, Jia must unravel a puzzling but terrible warning – one of her staff lies brutally slain, his corpse displayed in her garden despite her sophisticated security... Could there be a traitor in her midst?
