About this Event
Order a yummy Thai, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, or Japanese dish from one of the restaurants in Highlands Village, located in Carmel Valley, while learning how to lower LDL cholesterol with simple diet additions.
Learn which foods lower the bad cholesterol just as efficiently as Medic*tion with no side effects.
At the end of the presentation, handouts will be provided to take home, there will be a raffle to win Dr. Michael Greger’s NEW book, “How to Lower LDL Cholesterol Naturally with Food,” and stay for the Q&A, to get your questions answered.
Only the cost of your lunch will be your out-of-pocket expense for this event. Make sure to double check with the restaurant staff if you have any allergies and to make sure the food your order is 100% vegan. Even if you are not vegan, you are welcome to join us, we just ask that you order and try a vegan lunch with us, as we strive to save as many animals and people as possible.
Please arrive at 11:35am to order your meal so you can sit down and eat at 12pm, in time for the presentation given by Nina Shantel, Published Cookbook & Nutrition Author, Certified Fitness Trainer, who has a Certification in Fitness Nutrition, who addended Dr. Greger’s cholesterol-lowering 2-hour webinar to give you the highlights.
We’ll meet and eat at the seating area in the back between Joyee’s Dumpling House & Bamboo Pho & Sushi.
