Bundle up and hit the ice for some friendly school spirit! The Valparaiso Parks Department is hosting the VCS Elementary Winter Skate-Off, a fun PTO competition between all Valparaiso Community Schools elementary schools at the ice rink. Families are invited to skate, support their school, and help their PTO earn money-every skate counts! Participants may attend one or all dates to help boost their school's total. The competition runs each Sunday of February from 12pm-5pm!HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS
-Each admission counts toward the elementary school the skater attends.
-At check-in, skaters must state their elementary school at the admission register to receive credit.
-Attendance totals will be cumulative across all four dates
PRIZE
-The elementary school with the highest total attendance across all sessions will win!
-Schools earn $1 back for each admission under their school's name.
-Maximum prize: $500 to the winning school's PTO.
***Open to all Valparaiso Community Schools elementary students and their families.
