VCAN November 2024 Meeting - Nov 7th

Welcome to the VCAN November 2024 Meeting! Join us for an exciting in-person gathering at Hudsons Canada's Pub. This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow members, share ideas, and network in a casual setting. Details -

• Date & Time: Thursday, November 7th, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (we can stay until 9:00 PM)

• Location: Hudsons Canada Pub (Back Room)
  (If you have problems finding the Back Room, just let them know you are here for the VCAN Networking Event)

• Parking: There is parking available in the back parking lot open for Hudsons customers. Otherwise, street parking in and around the area is free after 6:00pm.

Meeting Highlights:

• Food: We will be ordering food directly from Hudsons. To cover costs, we will be contributing $25 per person for appetizers. This amount does not include drinks. Please feel free to order drinks directly from Hudsons and pay for the drinks before you leave.

• Agenda:

• Jackie Dang from RBC Royal Bank will start the evening with a brief 10 minutes chat on Stated Income Program for self-employed people who are looking for a residential mortgage loan.

• Each member will then have 30 seconds to 1 minute to:
• Introduce themselves and their business
• Share any referrals they are seeking or have given/received
• Mention any specific types of business opportunities they are looking for
• The remainder of the evening will be dedicated to open networking.

Future Meetings:

• As we discussed, VCAN will hold monthly events on the first Thursday of each month from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Our meeting formats will evolve based on member feedback, so we welcome your thoughts!

Please note: RSVP is required by the end of the day on October 31st to allow for planning and coordination of food and meeting arrangements. Kindly RSVP directly to the Eventbrite email/invitation.
