Vancouver Island Pagan Pride Day is delighted to announce that our 20th annual festival returns to Campbell River on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Rooted in community and inspired by the land and sea, this year’s celebration invites pagans, friends, families, and the curious public to come together to Share the Harvest.

From 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, Robert V. Ostler Park will come alive with music, ritual, learning, and connection. The day will feature an engaging lineup of local musicians and performers, woven together with public rituals that all attendees are warmly invited to observe or participate in. Workshops and information tables hosted by pagan organizations from across Vancouver Island will offer opportunities to learn, ask questions, and explore earth-honouring spiritual paths in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Guests can browse a vibrant marketplace filled with local and regional vendors offering handcrafted clothing, jewelry, artwork, pottery, organic soaps, skincare products, and a wide variety of pagan tools and supplies. Readers and healers will also be on site, including astrologers, tarot and oracle card readers, psychics, Reiki practitioners, crystal therapists, and other spiritual healers—providing many ways to engage, reflect, and explore.
“Paganism is an umbrella term that encompasses a wide range of earth-honouring spiritual paths, including Wicca, Druidry, Heathenry, ancient reconstructionism, and more,” said Mary Malinski, Archpriestess of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church of Canada. “While our practices may differ, we are united by values of respect, diversity, and reverence for the natural world and all its beings. We are especially thrilled to be celebrating Pagan Pride Day here in our hometown once again. It’s a beautiful opportunity to gather in community and share who we are with open hearts and open minds.”
In keeping with our reverence for the Earth, attendees are encouraged to reduce their environmental impact by walking, cycling, carpooling, or using public transit to attend the festival. For those who have never experienced a pagan ritual before, Pagan Pride Day offers a gentle and welcoming introduction.
The mission of Vancouver Island Pagan Pride Day is to foster pride in pagan identities through education, activism, charity, and community—four guiding principles that align with the elements of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. As part of this commitment, we will once again host our Share the Harvest Cauldron, collecting cash and non-perishable food donations in support of the Campbell River and District Food Bank Society. The Aquarian Tabernacle Church of Canada is a registered Canadian charity, and tax receipts can be provided upon request.
For two decades, Vancouver Island Pagan Pride Day has offered a safe, welcoming space to learn about Paganism as both a religion and a way of life. Join us as we honour the land, celebrate community, and share the harvest together.
