Vancouver Bass Workshop 2026

An event for double bassists to learn and connect through masterclasses, technique classes, student concerts, chamber music and faculty performances!

Featuring Vancouver Symphony Orchestra bassist Noah Reitman, Vancouver Opera Orchestra/jazz/folk bassist and singer/songwriter Maggie Hasspacher, and others.

Bassists of all ages are invited to perform, listen and support one another on their musical journey. Come hear jazz, folk/pop and classical students of all abilities share their music with one another.

We invite parents of younger students to attend the concert at the end.
