Our Game Development Camp gives young creators the chance to step behind the screen and learn how games are actually made. Throughout the week, campers explore the fundamentals of game design, coding logic, and playtesting, all while building their own playable projects from the ground up.
Campers also take part in structured off‑screen activities that reinforce creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, helping them understand how teamwork shapes every great game.
By the end of camp, every participant walks away with games they built themselves, new technical skills, and the excitement of seeing their imagination come to life.
Each Valhallan camp has a curriculum designed to improve your kid's relationship with gaming. Playing a game at Valhallan isn't just messing around, we actively teach strategy and encourage introspection and socialization. Alongside in‑game learning, kids participate in fun, structured off‑screen activities that reinforce teamwork, spark creativity, and help them build friendships that last beyond camp.
Designed for youth ages 7 -17, this engaging camp will be on July 6th - 10th, 9 AM - 6 PM each day.
