The film is a dramatic, heartfelt, and darkly funny story about grief, masculinity, faith, family, and the complicated bond between a father and son. Set in Sacramento, the film follows a struggling stand-up comedian as he confronts the sudden death of his estranged Scottish father and begins to understand the man he spent most of his life trying to avoid becoming.
This premiere will be part of the Golden Bear Film Festival, a cinematic celebration bringing together filmmakers, movie lovers, and the Sacramento/Folsom community for a weekend of films, red carpet moments, Q&As, and awards.
