In just three hours, you’ll learn to craft a stunning pair of textured metal earrings from scratch. You’ll be guided step-by-step through heating and texturing the metal, then cutting and shaping it with traditional jewellery tools. By the end, you’ll have a beautiful pair of earrings to wear proudly or gift to someone you care about!
You will practice on smaller texture samples to work out what texture and what metal you want to go with, and then move on to creating your earrings in warm copper or yellow brass.
Your class materials pack includes everything you need for the class to make a super cool pair of shiny gorgeous earrings.
Using copper and brass as our main material allows us to have more creative fun and create larger earrings with less expense.
We do have a lovely range of sterling silver sheets that you can purchase as extra if you are committed to working in silver!
We use quality pre-made sterling silver and stainless steel earring hooks and hoops for these taster classes so that you can focus on making the main part of the earrings and know that your findings will be just perfect.
Kids aged 12 (or so) are welcome to attend the class, but an enrolled parent or caregiver must accompany anyone under the age of 16.
