This course is designed for anyone looking to expand their skills and tackle longer, more complex routes that require multiple pitches. Multi-pitch climbing involves climbing a route that is longer than a single rope length, with each section known as a pitch. This type of climbing requires advanced rope management, anchor building and communication skills. Located at Windsor Crag in Christchurch. - 14th and 15th February 2026
- 8am - 4pm daily

Prerequisites:
NZAC Member (non members are welcome to apply but must join the NZAC in order to be accepted onto the course - there are no exceptions)
Under 18 must have parental/guardian permission and must be at least 16 to attend.
This course is suitable for those who have a sport climbing background - know how to sport lead climb, lead belay and abseil (this is NOT a beginners course).
