Let's celebrate love of all kinds with a matchplay tournament for LGBTQIA+ pinball players and allies! We're excited to return to Barcade Brooklyn after raising more than $3,900 at PinPride and more than $18,000 to date!Preregistration for up to 52 players will open at noon on Saturday, February 1 at https://app.matchplay.events/tournaments/171940 with $10 entry fee to Jess (venmo @zeta6742 or paypal jessicaleewarren at hotmail, last four digits 1371). Open to all skill levels and new players welcome but all participants and spectators must be 21+.
Check in starting at 12 p.m., tournament starts at 1 p.m. Seven rounds of match play in 3- or 4-player groups, with 7/5/3/1 scoring and balanced pairings. Top 8 make PAPA-style finals. Plunge all extra balls. Semifinals and finals will be three games with 4/2/1/0 scoring where top seed has choice of game or player order; top 2 from each semifinal group advance to finals. IFPA sanctioned.
Approximate payouts based on 52 players:
• 1st place: $70 + trophy
• 2nd place: $50 + trophy
• 3rd place: $30 + medal
• 4th place: $20 + medal
• 5th-8th place: $15
• $200 donated to Ali Forney Center (https://www.aliforneycenter.org/, additional donations welcome with your registration or at the event via cash, venmo, or paypal)
Tournament will also feature:
