TESTIMONIALS:

"Jann Klose is one of the most rounded and versatile musicians I know. Much like his performances his teaching is explorative and creative. He meets you where you are and gives you the fundamental tools to excel in any genre of music." -- Alphonso Horne, artist, educator (as seen on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Louis Armstrong Musical)

"Working with Jann has been an absolute gamechanger. Not only was I provided with the opportunity of getting to know my instrument better and to use it adequately to create the precise effects I wanted, but I also learned techniques just as important like acting through a song, expressing myself and the lyrics through my body and learning the insides of the music industry which so far have eluded me. This whole experience has made me grow not only musically but personally and I can only recommend Jann Klose to everybody, now matter the musical background, as you will most definitely take something positive out of it!" -- Victoria Herraiz, singer (as seen on The Voice Spain)

"Jann's holistic approach has brought my voice to a level I only dreamed of, both technically and emotionally. My range, confidence, breath, and control have all improved dramatically. He is super positive and a treasure trove of wisdom. I highly recommend him for all experience levels." -- Jeremy Aaron, singer-songwriter

"When I started lessons with Jann, I was very nervous. I’d never taken lessons in my life, but he eased my concerns and taught me so much. Just a few short months after starting with him I sang the national anthem for a major league soccer game in front of over 20,000 people. He doesn’t just teach you to sing, he teaches you confidence, which is the most important part. I’m so grateful to have found him!" -- Cheyenne Duncan-Stricker

"I’ve been working with Jann for over two years (in-person and on Zoom) and I already see a huge improvement in my vocal confidence, tone, enunciation, delivery, and stage presence. Jann is great at getting students to open up and be comfortable so that we can give our best when singing. Jann helps you find the right songs for your voice, gives you his tried and true vocal warm-up techniques, and guides you section by section to make sure you’re giving the song exactly what it needs. If you’re looking to improve your voice for stage or studio, look no further. Jann is it." -- Michael Also

“I knew I found a special teacher and person within minutes of meeting Jann Klose. My vocal training began at the beginning of the pandemic, so I didn’t start with Jann in person. I was extremely nervous to have a voice lesson online, however this was the best start for me considering the challenge of the pandemic. His positive and genuinely-friendly disposition put me at ease right away. I was able to start learning expeditiously! Jann’s talent as a vocal coach is phenomenal! He teaches with warmth, support and encouragement as well as honesty and sincerity. Since I began working with Jann, my technical skills, vocal range, confidence and ability to express myself as a singer has all improved undoubtedly. I continue to receive complimentary feedback which is an authentic testament to my progress thus far. Believing I wasn’t capable of singing, Jann proved me wrong and brought out the hidden singer in me. Someone I didn’t know myself! It is through him I discovered my voice, realized how beautiful it could be and accepted the uniqueness of my own. He taught me to connect with the song and tell the story rather than trying to be impressive. So when I attempt a song, I really try and understand the significance and what does the song mean to me. I am so grateful for Jann and couldn’t have asked for a better teacher! If you are ready to sing. Jann is for you! I will always remember what Jann told me, “We are making sound!” -- Consuelo Whitehurst

"Jann is an effective teacher that goes above and beyond. He teaches excellent techniques, and he focuses just as much on interpreting the song and making it your own. He always provides a balance of hard work and encouragement that keeps me going through the lesson and keeps me coming back for the next one!" -- Ann Delaney

"Jann Klose combines his extensive expertise with his experience as a professional singer to help vocal students achieve their goals. He tailors each session to the individual, teaching exercises that bring out the best in a vocalist. What I liked most was that Jann has a genuine interest in working on songs written by the vocalist. He not only suggests useful changes to vocal parts, his extensive knowledge of chord structure and melody, helps you to make a song even better. Jann is also a personable guy who takes an interest in your development as a musician, but also provides a listening ear to discuss issues that impact your life. He has an amazing gift for singing, and his enthusiasm and commitment to excellence just makes you want to work harder." -- Art Nelson

“Jann has been a great teacher for me. He started giving me lessons despite no prior singing experience, and has been very encouraging since I began. I’ve already learned a lot and he’s given me a lot of good exercises to help find my voice and range as well as picking some great songs to start learning. I made the decision to start taking lessons somewhat impulsively, since I wanted music to be a bigger part of my life and it was one of the best choices I’ve made in a while.” -- Sean Para
