This intensive introduces Das Gegenteil 2.0, a system developed by Valentin Tszin over the past seven years. This evolved version is rooted in Valentin’s extensive experiences with Japanese Butoh masters, his theatrical training, and his background in martial arts, specifically Taekwondo, which he practiced as a child. It also draws on his decades-long career as a performer across the globe.
Das Gegenteil 2.0 is designed as an adaptation for a broader audience, making it accessible to participants with diverse creative goals. The system focuses on helping individuals develop their own unique style in performance art. At its core, it emphasizes Butoh techniques while integrating elements from theater, martial arts, and Valentin’s personal methodology. This workshop is ideal for those seeking to explore and redefine their creative identity through movement and performance.
