Cypress Pillar's Usui Reiki is a truly lovely form of energy healing that was first founded in Japan in the late 1800's/early 1900's. The beautiful thing about this healing system is that *anyone* can do it, and Level 2 is the next step for those who wish to take their healing abilities to the next level. Learning more deeply how to offer this beautiful modality to others, and discovering how to work with the energy using symbols and other more advanced tools.
Misha will be leading a deep dive in, with evenings of study goodness for those who would like to learn, or even re-learn, this gentle healing art. Pre-requisite is Reiki Level 1, ideally at least 28 days of experience. (You do not need to have taking Reiki Level 1 with Misha)
Your experience will include:
* Learning three Reiki Symbols, their history, their mantras, their purposes, and how to connect in deeply with them to work with them in your healing for your self and others
* Deeper understanding of how to provide a Reiki treatment for another person including how to share your Reiki with others, how to begin and end a session, cleansing and clearing, and more
* Exploration of clinical Reiki treatment techniques such as Byosen scanning and beaming
* Learning techniques and meditations to help you practice, grow, and improve your personal Reiki energy manipulation techniques
* Ethical and safety considerations for working with others
* Multiple attunements, given to Misha by the Spirits of the Mountain, spread out over the course of the immersion to ease you into the feel of the art. This offering of multiple Reiki attunements over time is in keeping with the traditional Japanese manner and one of the reasons we offer our Reiki trainings over several days.
* Meditations and exercises each week to help you expand your ability to feel, receive, and release energy. You will receive these via email after each class to help you study during the week.
* A interdisciplinary approach to learning using all the senses
* Hands on practice time (in person students - virtual students will be given direction over Zoom) - both on yourself and others in the class
* An intro to the business of Reiki including marketing, working with clients, and more
* A beautiful full color 20+ page manual, created with love by Misha, and *only* available to Cypress Pillar Reiki Students
* And lots more!

And yes, our Reiki 2 is a little bit different than the normal way these courses are scheduled; ours is taught in a more traditional way using a multi-day immersion into this beautiful energy healing system.
Why multiple days when most trainings are either a few hours or 1 full day? After multiple trips to Mt Kurama, the birthplace of Reiki, and speaking with the Spirits on the Mountain, Misha felt that she'd really like to give this healing system, and the students who seek to learn it, the time it is due. It is a *lot* to try to understand, process, learn, get comfy with, and apply in a short period of time. While we honor each Master's own choice in how they present this material, Misha would like to offer an experience that is a bit different, a bit deeper, and infused with spaciousness to help you truly understand and fall in love with this practice. Misha's used her Master's Degree in Education and 25+ years of background in program design to develop a study format that is intended to give the student every opportunity to both learn and practice during their training, and to do so at a pace that allows you to gain knowledge in a supportive hands on environment. Misha's multi-day, multiple attunement approach is more in alignment with the Japanese tradition as well.

Certification Requirements:
Participants must attend each day in order to complete this course (watching the replay is ok if you cannot make it! But you will need to attend at least one class to receive your first attunement). All participants will receive multiple attunements, a certificate of completion, Cypress Pillar Usui Reiki Level 2 manual and self study guide to help support their learning and practice outside of the class, additional color handouts...plus a little bit of extra MishaMagic that will make the day extra special! And, yes, they will be officially certified as Level 2 Reiki Practitioners. Syllabus, preparation information and instructions on what to bring will be provided to students upon payment of deposit.

About Misha:
Reverend Misha Nell is a certified Reiki Master who been practicing Reiki since she first was attended to Level 1 in a tiny dorm room at New College, way back in 1996. Yes, Reiki can happen anywhere! Over twenty years later, she's studied with multiple teachers, researched lost traditions of the original Japanese teachings, and has made multiple pilgrimages to Japan to visit the sacred Mt Kurama, birthplace of Usui Reiki, to both learn and solidify her commitment and intentions as well as to follow her heart (most recently in March 2025). Misha believes that Reiki is a gift that any person can learn, practice, and enjoy and she is excited to bring this training, taught through the lens of her own personal magic, to Sarasota and the world beyond!
