If you're planning on joining your shipmates for this year's Reunion in San Antonio, we are planning a trip up to the National Museum of the Pacific War, also known as the Nimitz Museum. It's in Fredericksvurg, Texas, about an hour and a half away. We are working on transportation so think about it and speak up if you want to join us and need a ride.

And if you drove to the Reunion, you may also be interested in visiting the USS Lexington CV-16 Museum in Corpus Christi. It's a bit over 2 hours down Interstate 37 which in Texas is just over yonder. For ship model enthusiasts, it has what may be the largest collection of model ships anywhere with more than 450 of them.
