About this Event
This training is designed for mental health professionals seeking to enhance their clinical practice by incorporating public domain symptom measures into their assessment and treatment processes. These tools, such as PHQ-A, GAD-7, DERS, PCL, HaQ-ii, and others offer a structured way to evaluate clients' symptoms, track progress over time, and make data-informed treatment decisions. Participants will learn how to effectively integrate these measures into intake sessions, ongoing assessments, and treatment planning, improving both the accuracy of diagnosis and the effectiveness of interventions. Additionally, this training will explore ways to use the data from these tools to foster collaborative treatment discussions and improve therapeutic outcomes.
Training Objectives:
- Understand the benefits and limitations of public domain symptom measures in clinical practice.
- Learn how to administer and interpret key public domain measures for anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, PTSD, the therapeutic relationship, and other symptoms and behaviors.
- Develop skills to incorporate symptom measures into clinical assessments and treatment planning.
- Explore strategies for using outcome data to enhance client engagement and monitor progress.
