At the Parish Centre behind St. Michael's Catholic Church, 204 Blackrock Road, Cork, T12 A020, Ursula Walsh will be hosting this Demo/ Paint Along.She will be working in acrylic paint on canvas. She will be using; White, Ultramarine Blue, Raw Umber, Cadmium Red and Yellow, Permanent Rose, Orange, a few different yellows, Yellow Ochre, Cerulean Blue and a Teal. Ursula will have the image drawn on the canvas beforehand and go from there.
Please bring your own supplies if painting along and arrive a few minutes before 10.30 to set up your space.
ARTIST’S BIOGRAPHY;
Ursula is a self taught artist and since her teenage years has attended all manner of evening classes, weekend workshops and art demonstrations.
She is currently on sabbatical from her day job and hopes to concentrate on honing her technique and style of painting.
She ran her own business creating bespoke wedding stationery for a number of years.
She has produced commissioned art work and photography for private clients and businesses.
STYLE;
Ursula focuses on capturing subjects with precision, emphasising careful observation, natural lighting and accurate representation of form and texture.

This promises to be a fun and engaging event which is open to the public & beginner, aspiring & professional artists.
This month’s theme for submission for the President's Prize 2026 is “an animal, or bird painting.”
There will be 10-15 minutes set aside at the end of the session for guidance on a w.i.p. you might like to discuss.
Members €5, Non-Members €10, refreshments & raffle ticket included. Card reader avallable.

Membership for 2026 is €50, which is the same as last year.
