About this Event
This is an open mic and poetry event sponsored by . We are creating community for artist to share their work. We want to provide an environment where people feel safe and comfortable to indulge in creative expression.
This is a charity event to raise awareness of homelessness in Atlanta.
*Donations are giving to the needy around Downtown Atlanta*
During our event we collect donation like toiletries, blankets, and cloths. If you do not want to donate through Eventbrite, you can also bring one of the following items.
- Soap
- Women's hygiene products
- Toothbrush/Toothpaste
- Blanket
- Wash Cloth/ Towel
- Wipes
When: Thursday, September 26th
Location: Atlanta Beltline Art Exhibit, 680 North Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308 (Across the lawn from Kroger)
Time: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
The walk-in sign up sheet will be designated for "1st come 1st Serve", so please get there by 6pm to ensure get a slot!
This is POETRY night. Signer-songwriter, and some small ensemble live music performances allowed. This is not a showcase event. Hip Hop/Rap artists are encouraged to be prepared to perform acapella.
Tickets are not required to attend the event, but they are recommended for guaranteed seating. Try arriving early to be seated at an open table.
