Urban Kiz Sunday with Diana UrbanKiz & Anysabel from Aberdeen, ScotlandDiana UrbanKiz is a Latvian dance instructor currently based in Scotland.
She began her dance journey in 2011, exploring Cuban Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba, along with basic training in Ballroom, Cha Cha, and Brazilian Zouk.
Her passion truly ignited when she discovered Urbankiz—a style that resonated deeply with her and became her main focus.
Diana has been a leading teacher for many years, known for her dedication and experience. She emphasizes not only follower technique but also encourages her students to develop their unique style, always maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere in her classes.
She teaches alongside her dance partner, Kev BreeZy, who is based in Paris, and has collaborated with numerous international instructors throughout her career.
A strong advocate for women’s empowerment in dance, Diana believes that women should feel confident in both following and leading roles.
She is also the main organiser of the Aberdeen Afro Latin Festival, along with several other dance events in Aberdeen.
Diana will be teaching us urban kiz on Sunday. She is being accompanied by Anysabel who is kizomba instructor, both leader and follower, and also the Marketing Director of Aberdeen Afro Latin Festival.
