We’re thrilled to invite you to the Urban Farms Day Ride this Monday, September 23rd! Join us at 6:00 PM at the Niagara Frontier Food Terminal, located at 1500 Clinton Street, Buffalo, NY.This special ride, themed around **Urban Farms**, is in collaboration with the Food Policy Council. We’ll come together to celebrate the spirit of community, the joy of cycling, and the vital role of local agriculture. Throughout the ride, speakers from the Food Policy Council will share insights on the impact of urban farming in our city. They’ll also have a table offering additional information and resources on food policy and urban agriculture.
The evening promises to be full of vibrant energy, featuring delicious food from Nickel Plate and Cheesy Chick, along with refreshing drinks to keep the good vibes going.
We’re also excited to announce that **Roswell Park** will be setting up a cancer screening station at the event. This is a great opportunity to prioritize your health while enjoying the ride. A patient navigator will be available to provide tours of the unit and offer cancer screening education.
And don’t worry, we’ll make sure to get back in time to watch the Buffalo Bills kickoff! Nickel Plate will be ready to accommodate our Slow Rollers with great food, drinks, and a perfect spot to enjoy the game together.
This ride is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow cyclists, explore Buffalo’s urban farms, and support community health and wellbeing. We can’t wait to see you there!
