About the Speaker
Dr Yasser Rafique is truly a man behind many smiles—a dentist by profession, but a dedicated naturalist and conservationist at heart. His journey reflects a deep and enduring passion for connecting people with nature and encouraging meaningful engagement with the outdoors.
Since his school days, he has actively conducted awareness sessions across schools and reputed institutions such as NIFT, Serenity Trust, and Science City, inspiring individuals to develop a deeper appreciation for wildlife and conservation.
His work extends beyond education into research and documentation. His studies and photographs have been featured in esteemed publications, including Hornbill, the journal of the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), as well as in several wildlife books.
Through his efforts, he continues to bridge the gap between urban life and natural ecosystems, reminding us of the rich biodiversity that exists all around us.
