About this Event
STITCH CLUB is a unique skill-share project that connects experienced creatives with people, to teach sewing, upcycling and repair. In this workshop, young people will learn sewing skills and techniques they can use to upcycle their own clothes.
There is currently enough clothes on the planet to serve the next 6 generations and contuning overproduction is damagng the natural environment and driving unethical labour practices. Young people will learn how upcycling can be a gentle protest and act of resistance against fast fashion, as well as an affordable way to express their own style. Bring your own denm or chose from our stash.
