Ease into Sunday evenings with an interactive & generative writing workshop.

Join us for three consecutive Sundays of communal writing time for creatives of color. Together we create, share and explore stories using fresh prompts to propel us beyond the here and now.

Isn't it time to give your stories the time and space to blossom? the nurturing they deserve? and to (finally)scratch that creative itch? Join us.

Embedded in the AWA (Amherst Writers & Artists) philosophy: All writing is treated as fiction. The writer is the author - not the character, not who the story is about. Every person is a unique storyteller with an abundance of creativity. There is no 'right way'. We listen to stories for what has impact, what's strong. This workshop does not critique. (Issa *glass half full* kinda jam here.)

All levels from curious to published, from journalers to journalists are embraced.
