Social Adaptation & Integration in Israel

A two session online course: December 1 and 8

This course is tailored for individuals planning to make Aliyah or who have recently moved to Israel.

It provides essential tools and guidance for a smooth adaptation, focusing on understanding and embracing Israeli culture, navigating local bureaucracy, and integrating into the workforce and community, all while maintaining your cultural identity.

The sessions are designed to help you develop a personalized plan for  successful social integration, the course will cover the following key topics:

• How to adapt quickly, efficiently and with confidence.
• Tips for learning Hebrew quickly and effectively.
• Staying positive and committed to your Aliyah journey.
• Building a support network to help you feel at home in a new environment.
• How to make meaningful friendships in a new community.
• Finding spaces to recharge and help ground you in unfamiliar surroundings.
• Developing a love for Israel, even when everything feels new and challenging!

Through this course, you will gain the tools and skills necessary to build a strong foundation for thriving in Israel and overcome any challenges that might arise.The course is delivered by , who holds a Master's in Sociology, specializing in Global Migration from Tel Aviv University. Sofya researches effective methods for the adaptation of Olim in Israel.
