In our fast-paced, "always-on" world, we often focus on movement that is muscular, intense, and driven. But true balance requires a counter-point. Join us for this special workshop where we dive into the quiet, transformative practice of Yin Yoga.Whether you are a seasoned Vinyasa Yoga enthusiast or a complete beginner, this workshop offers the space to slow down, breathe deeply, and explore the hidden depths of your body and mind.
In this session we will cover:
❤️Understanding the Balance: Yin vs. Yang
❤️The Difference Between Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga
❤️The Benefits of a Yin Practice
❤️The Art of the "Stay"; finding your edge, resolving to be still, and holding for time
What to Expect: Creative Prop Usage: Learn how to use bolsters, blocks, and blankets to bring the floor to you, ensuring your joints are supported.
Cues for the Mind: We provide "internal cues" to help you navigate the sensations of a long hold.
Sequencing: We will move through a sequence designed to target the lower back, hips, and spine, followed by "rebound" periods to observe the energetic shifts.
