About this Event
This special event features guided tours of the innovative Joyce Centre for Partnership & Innovation at Mohawk College — one of Canada’s leading net-zero educational facilities.
The session will begin with a short presentation from Mohawk College’s Sustainability Office, EPIC, and School of Climate Action, showcasing campus sustainability initiatives, applied research, and decarbonization efforts. Following this, the Independent Electricity System Operator will be providing an overview of its new commercial demand response program - Peak Perfomance. Participants will then enjoy a guided, non-technical tour of the JCPI building, including mechanical spaces and a high-level look at the innovative systems supporting its net-zero performance. (Please wear closed toes shoes for the tour)
