University of Strathclyde Live Lab 2026

In this two-day hands-on interactive workshop on strategic communication, Strathclyde students will have the unique opportunity to learn from Government Communications officers about the profession and work on a creative campaign set on a real-life upcoming event.

Students will also participate in several masterclasses about presentation skills, digital communications and crisis communication.

In Day 2, teams will pitch their campaigns to the client (Government Comm. officers) and receive feedback.

This is a great way to practice your communication skills with a real-world scenario and learn from professionals about working in the field.

Day 1: Monday 27 April (3.5 hours)

Introduction to the event, introduction to the campaign brief and setting of teams. Masterclass #1.

Day 2: Friday 1 May (full day)

Masterclasses #2 and #3, team work on campaign, teams pitch ideas to client and compete.
