When exactly was “once upon a time?” And what comes after “happily ever after?”
This Valentine’s Day weekend, CPH Musicals and the creative team behind Shakespeare in Song present Unhappily Ever After, a brand new musical cabaret that rewrites the fairy tale.
Performed by a cast of 12 outstanding singers, we showcase all the ‘once upon a times’ that didn’t end happily ever after: bad first dates, botched proposals, broken promises, unrequited romance, and our relentless ability to keep hoping for our own happy endings.
Featuring showstoppers and deep cuts from beloved musical theatre including Waitress, Legally Blonde, Falsettos, Follies, The Last Five Years, Tick Tick Boom, Songs for a New World, La Cage Aux Folles, and more.
Unhappily Ever After is for couples, friends, the happily single, the hopeful, and anyone who’s ever wondered what comes after “ever after.”
