About this Event
Transmission Company Victoria (TCV) invites you to attend a webinar where The Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) will explain the Environment Effects Statement (EES) process, the draft scoping requirements and how to give feedback.
Key Topics
- Overview of the EES Process: Understand the purpose of the EES and its role in project planning.
- Draft Scoping Requirements and Public Consultation: Find out how you can provide feedback on the draft scope and have your say on what should be considered in the VNI West EES.
What is an EES?
An EES is the state’s most rigorous and transparent environmental assessment. It describes a project, its rationale and potential environmental effects. It enables stakeholders and decision-makers to understand how the project is proposed to be implemented and the likely environmental effects of doing so. DTP leads the EES process, and they have developed draft scoping requirements outlining the matters for assessment. Landholders and members of the community now have the chance to provide feedback on the draft scoping requirements for the VNI West EES through a public consultation process.
