This is an evidence-based educational class and should not be considered as personal medical advice.
It will be an interactive class based on up-to-date research. I will also weave in personal stories (including my own) from my 20 years of experience working with women to optimize their hormone levels.
Participants will be invited to submit questions before the event (the earlier the better), and I’ll do my best to answer them during the session.
Workbooks will be provided to all participants and will include important questions to ask their healthcare providers.
Topics:
· Hormones 101: The Female Hormone Symphony (how our hormones work)
· Perimenopause → Menopause → Postmenopausal (how they are defined, common misconceptions, and common symptoms)
· Common Hormone Conditions in Women i.e. All of the above & PCOS, Hypothyroidism, HSDD (Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder) & important labs to consider
· Evidence-Based Treatments: Natural & Prescription, including Hormone & Non-Hormone options ie Bio-identical Hormone Therapy, Supplements, Yoga, CBT, & Meditation
· Empowering Tools: Behavioral modifications, Lifestyle and Empowering Quotes
During the class, we will be weaving in movement and breathwork. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing. Please bring a yoga mat, snacks and water. Please come scent-free.
