About this Event
Understanding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
This online workshop will help parents and carers to gain an understanding of ADHD in children and young people and its impact on behaviour, relationships and day-to-day life.
You will leave with a basic toolkit of strategies that enable positive behaviour, successful relationships and reaching potential in and out of school and will be signposted to local, national and international resources available to children, young people and their families.
Please note this workshop is funded by Reaching Families for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities in West Sussex only. It is not suitable for professionals.
After booking - Once you have booked a place you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite. Prior to the workshop you will receive a Zoom link to access the session. You will need to download Zoom in advance but you don’t need to set up an account if you don’t wish to. Zoom can be used on PC’s/Laptops and mobile devices such as iPad, phones and tablets. If you have any questions, please get in touch and we will happily talk you through setting this up if required.
If workshop is full - places can become available and we are very proactive at ensuring all places are taken on our workshops. In order to join the waitlist, please open Eventbrite via an internet browser, rather than using the Eventbrite app, in order to book yourself onto the waitlist.
