About this Event
Join us for an evening talk exploring how to recognise the often subtle signs of pain and discomfort in dogs.
This session, led by Dynamic Dog Practitioner Jeanette Muldoon, offers a practical introduction to identifying discomfort, understanding its link to behaviour and learning how early awareness can support better outcomes for your dog.
Suitable for both dog professionals and pet caregivers.
About the Speaker
Jeanette Muldoon, co-founder of The Family Dog Club, brings over 15 years of experience in dog training and behaviour. She is an IMDT and IMDTB accredited behaviourist, a Dynamic Dog Practitioner, a Kids Around Dogs instructor and a UKCSD Scent Instructor.
Working with over 100 dogs each week, Jeanette is passionate about helping pet caregivers better understand their dogs through reward-based, science-led training. Alongside her partner Gavin, she has built a reputation for delivering supportive, confidence-building training that strengthens the relationship between dogs and their caregivers.
About Dynamic Dog
Pain in dogs is often misunderstood and not always obvious. Many dogs won’t limp or vocalise and signs of discomfort can go unnoticed for long periods.
Dynamic Dog focuses on identifying these subtle indicators. Research from the University of Lincoln suggests that up to 80% of dogs presenting with behavioural issues may have an underlying pain component.
Dynamic Dog Practitioners are trained to recognise potential signs of discomfort and work alongside veterinary professionals, helping ensure dogs receive the support they need sooner, while also addressing behaviour in a thoughtful and informed way.
