Renowned Canadian comedian Sean Collins, with over 30 years of stand-up experience, is coming to The Attic's Southampton-based Comedy Club. Sean's journey in comedy began in 1990, following a career as a counselor for children with psychiatric problems. His early success led to a Best Male Standup nomination at the Canadian Comedy Awards, and he later secured an hour-long TV special on Canadian television, along with a gala appearance at Just For Laughs.
Hailing from Vancouver, Sean's comedy mirrors his vibrant life experiences. His laid-back style of storytelling, delivered from atop a stool, combines personal and comical tales. While mainly performing in the UK, Sean has made notable appearances on BBC's Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and The Real Variety Showcase, maintaining a busy professional schedule.
Sean's move to the UK rapidly earned him a reputation as an impressive entertainer. His performance on BBC One's Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow marked the beginning of greater things, including an invitation to showcase his talents at The Real Variety Showcase for Jeremy Lee Associates, one of the UK's largest agencies for booking after-dinner speakers and comedians at corporate events and industry parties. The Stage (2013) recognized Sean as the 'Expert Choice,' and he became Jeremy Lee Associates' standout act.
